The Punjabi film, ‘Paune:9’ directed by Baljeet Noor starring Dheeraj Kumar and Neha Pawar in the lead roles has a release date.

The cast and crew took to their respective social media handles to announce the release date and it is August 04 this year. A new film poster has also been unveiled which features Dheeraj whose left profile of the face is covered with a mask and right profile is giving out quite loud expressions. Baljeet Noor has also written the story of the film. Apart from the lead cast, the film will also have Pooja Brrambat, Nitu Pandher, Ashish Duggal, Pali Sandhu, Gurnav Deep Singh, Gurjit Singh and others.

While Kuldeep Dhaliwal, Guri Dhaliwal and Gurjit Singh Dhaliwal are producing the film, Jaggi Bhangu will be co-producing it to be released under the banner of Amigos Motion Picture. Also Read : Woah! This Karan Aujla Track Made It To Jennifer Aniston-Adam Sandler’s ‘Murder Mystery 2’ 

It was just last year that Dheeraj had dropped the first look poster of the film which was hands down quite intriguing. The poster features Dheeraj whose face is covered with a skeletal mask and is wearing a black hoodie. The overall vibe of the poster is quite dark and intense.

During the film announcement, the caption accompanied the post, “ਜਦੋਂ ਦਿਲ ਟੁੱਟਦਾ ਏ, ਦਰਦ ਨਹੀਂ ! ਦਿਮਾਗ਼ ਖ਼ਰਾਬ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਏ (When heart breaks, it doesn't hurt, it damages the brain)

Now joining the dots, we suspect if Dheeraj is playing a serial killer following a heart break. If it is so we are totally reminded of Riteish Deshmukh from ‘Ek Villain’.

We really can’t contain our excitement as we are really high on hopes with this brilliant actor who is paving his path in a unique direction unlike the others who are still busy doing films cliche rom-coms.

By the way, this can be his another look in the film as the picture is captioned, “9”
