Actor- Singer Dhanveer Singh is riding high on success these days. After receiving a lot of love and appreciation in ZEE5’s Stage of Seige: Temple Attack, he will be next seen in Abhishek Bachchan’s 'Dasvi' as Abhishek’s younger brother. The social comedy film will also star Nimrat Kaur and Yami Gautam. The shooting of which took place in Lucknow and Agra.
While talking exclusively to GhaintPunjab about his role, he revealed, “I had to go through the audition and I got selected to play the younger brother of Abhishek Bachchan and it’s a very prominent character in the film.” Also Read : It’s Confirmed! Sharing his excitement and happiness over the project, Dhanveer says, “It feels great to work with such stars whom you have grown up watching and admired as a fan. Since, I come from a village background and to work with such superstars it is a big deal”. Indeed it is a big shot!
Not only this, ‘Royal Standard’ singer also gave a sneak peek into his upcoming projects. “Well, I can’t reveal much as of now but I have a short movie in Punjabi to be released soon which is directed by ‘Bhalwan Singh’ fame Param Shiv.
Let us tell you, Dhanveer has also played several other characters such as Salim in the renowned play Mughal-e-Azam, directed by Feroz Abbas Khan. He was also seen in ZEE5’s The Casino where he played the parallel lead alongside Karanvir Bohra. He has given his vocal for Punjabi Album songs like ‘Tere Bin’ and ‘Royal Standard’.
