Ranna Ch Dhanna: Diljit Dosanjh, Sonam Bjawa & Shehnaaz Gill Starrer To Release Next Year

Diljit dosanjh is surely on a roll! While fans were hgetting over the announcement of his rom-com, Jatt and Juliet 3, Diljit has finally shared the update on ‘Ranna Ch Dhanna’. The film was announced nearly three years back. All this while, there was no update about the film leaving fans wonder if film got shelved.

However, taking to his Instagram handle, the team has recently shared a new poster along with other important details. Apart from Diljit, the film also stars Sonam Bajwa and Shehnaaz Gill in the lead roles. The film is written and directed by Amarjit Singh Saron, scheduled to hit the theatres next year on October 02, 2024. Backed by Daljit Thind and Diljit Dosanjh, the film will be released under the production banner of Thind Motion Films and storytime productions. In fact, Pawan Gill will also be co-producing the film.

Suggesting this one to be a comedy period drama, the poster features animated Sonam Bajwa and Shehnaaz Gill holding arms of Diljit Dosanjh. While he is also surrounded by women, totally justifying the title. 

Well, what the film beholds for its audience will come to light only in the times to come.

It is worth-mentioning that, the film was announced in the year 2020. Have a look at the poster which was shared during the announcement.

For those who read Punjabi literature must be aware that Ranna Wich Dhanna is the title of a book written by popular Punjabi author Khushwant Singh. It was published by Lokgeet Parkashan.

Diljit Dosanjh, Sonam Bajwa and Shehnaaz Gill were earlier seen in Amarjit Singh Saron’s Honsla Rakh. The film was well received by the audience and minted good collections at the box office.
