Punjabi singer Prabh Gill's father Balwinder Singh has recently filed a complaint to the MC Joint Commissioner against the ongoing construction of a multi-storey building in Ludhiana. The construction has even caused damage to Prabh Gill's home as several cracks have appeared on the walls and other parts of the house.
The construction is currently underway at Krishna Nagar near Ghumar Mandi in Ludhiana where the upper floors of the building are being erected illegally. As per reports, the role of the MC building officials is also being questioned as the building bylaws are being ignored for a long time now.
It has been reported that the four-storeyed building already houses 32 rooms for 'paying guests' and the owner plans to build another two floors, the fifth is already underway.
The complainant, Balwinder Singh, has demanded that the commercial activities should not be allowed in the building and has alleged that the foundation of his house is also getting damaged due to this construction.
Balwinder Singh has been living in the house since 1976.
"No parking arrangement has been made in the building. If the multi-storey building is being constructed with MC approval, we should be informed in this regard so that we can make the required arrangements. We have faced a lot of problems due to the construction of this building. If the building is being constructed against the law, required action should be taken at the earliest,” he said.
