Remember the 90's hottie with droopy eyes who made many girls go weak in the knees with his debut in the critically acclaimed film Maachis? Yes, we are talking about none other than the chocolate hero of B-town, Chandrachur Singh. The man has worked in many memorable films like Maachis, Tere Mere Sapne, Josh and so on. He had won the Filmfare Award winner for Best Debut in 1996 for Maachis. But after that, he gradually disappeared from the scene as new stars came into the picture. A few years ago, he was seen hosting a few food-based shows on television.
During his acting career, the man even tried his luck at the Punjabi box office. He made his Pollywood debut in the year 2013 with Manduip Singh's 'Just You and Me'.
The movie was different from the kind of content that was being served to the audience back then. Based on teenage romance, this movie also marked the entry of Gitaz Bindrakhia and television actress Priyal Gor in Punjabi film industry. The movie sadly didn’t work at the box office. After which, we didn’t get to see Gitaz, Priyal or Chandrachur getting any more roles in Punjabi films.
During the promotion of this movie, Chandrachur looked quite optimistic about working in our regional industry, but as destiny had it, we didn’t get to see him again. The man who is known for his movies like Josh, Maachis and Kya Kehna has been out of Hindi movies too. It has been long that we have seen him in Bollywood but last what we had heard about him was that he's turned singer for a film.
