Sunanda Sharma is a well known Punjabi singer and her claim to fame can rightly be credited to her song 'Pataake'. She made her acting debut opposite Diljit in Sajjan Singh Rangroot this year but not much from her acting front is now being heard, though people are definitely dancing to her latest song every now and then.
But what if we tell you that Sunanda had never really thought that she would become a singer!

Sunanda Sharma was born in Fatehgarh Churia in the year 1992. She finished her schooling as well as graduation from her hometown only. She is a Master's degree holder in English from GNDU, Amritsar. She had an interest in music since childhood but never thought that she would choose singing as her career. She never learnt music professionally but had a passion for singing which she recognized at a very early age. Sunanda Sharma was the youngest kid of her parents, and they always supported her for her singing career.
Music was her passion, and she started by singing cover songs of other singers and uploading them on YouTube, Facebook, and Instagram. People started recognizing her after her video of Kulwinder Billa’s song Sacha Soorma went viral.
After that, she was given a chance to do a single with Amar Audio. Her first single song Billi Akh got millions of views on YouTube. She never expected such a massive response from the audience. Following this, she again released her second song ‘Pataake’ which received about 14 million views in less than a month’s time.
She also acted in the biopic of Bhai Mewa Singh – Gadri Yodhe and with this, she made an entry in Punjabi film industry. Today, Sunanda Sharma is a well-known name and has got quite a fan following. This year, she also marked her Bollywood singing debut thanks to Badshah.
