Apart from being an actor and a musician, Dosanjh is also a philanthropist. In the year 2013, on his birthday celebrated on 6th January, he started an organisation for the underprivileged children and seniors- ‘Saanjh Foundation’.
The Punjabi icon had love for singing since childhood. While he was in school he used to perform in front of small gatherings. He also used to sing religious songs at local Gurudwaras.
Dosanjh’s hit song Proper Patola was released in August 2013. It was his first Punjabi song to be featured on Vevo. This track, composed by rapper Badshah, received more than a million hits on YouTube within a fortnight.

Dosanjh who has been the winner of three BritAsia TV Music Awards for his album Back2Basic, dreams to learn fluent English and act in an English movie.
