With an endless list of hit songs, Happy Raikoti is an established name in the Punjabi music and film industry. Raikoti is one of the best lyricists in the Punjabi music league and also is an absolute favorite among his fans and followers. 

Born in Raikot, Ludhiana, this humble lyricist dreamt of writing songs for established singers. But in the initial phase of his career, he had to face a lot of rejection, hurdles, and problems. There was a time when none of the singers wanted to lay hands on songs penned by Raikoti. Here are some behind-the-screen facts reflecting the hard work of Happy Raikoti and his success earned hard.   4. After many years of struggle, he somehow convinced Roshan Prince to sing for him. With this, the song ‘Tere Thumke’ penned by Happy Raikoti and sung by Roshan Prince was released. But this did not turn into real success as the song did not receive much appreciation from the audience.
  5. Happy Raikoti did not lose hope. His continuous efforts and love for music ultimately paid off well and his songs started gaining recognition.
  6. Sippy Gill’s movie ‘Jatt Boys Putt Jattan De’ was the turning point in Happy Raikoti's career. Although his name was not on the poster yet his talent was recognized. Songs from the movie ‘Jatt Boys Putt Jattan De’ won a lot of accolades from the Punjabi Music Industry.
