Diljit, who started his singing career at the young age of 18, stepped into the acting line in the year 2012. His role in the movie Jihne Mera Dil Luteya made many realize that he has a hidden actor inside him.
Jihne Mera Dil Luteya, a movie made by TIPS and directed by Mandeep Singh was the game changer for Gippy Grewal and Diljit Dosanjh both but not many know that Diljit had initially turned down the offer.
When Diljit was offered the role of Gulnoor Singh Randhawa, he apparently didn’t like his role in the movie and for once turned down the project. It was Director Mandeep Singh and writer Dheeraj Rattan who pursued him further for the role and he finally said yes!
In the interview where he shared this, he also said, "If I hadn’t done that particular role, many good thing wouldn’t have crossed my way."
Well, there's no denying that fact that it was Jihne Mera Dil Luteya that made him enter the industry as an impactful actor but today his acting skills are the reason why he has a strong foot in Bollywood too. The actor later worked with the same director in the movie Ambarsariya which released in 2016.
