Whaaa?? Himanshi Was Earlier Finalised For Simi Chahal's Role In Bambukat?
Often when the movie releases we think that the actors who were cast in the film have brought out the best in the roles given to them but not many know the stuff that happens behind the scene.
It is a known fact that the script goes around to many artists and then someone finally signs it and makes the movie a hit while the others sulk over the fact that they've missed an opportunity.
Similar instances have happened in Punjabi film industry also. We told you that Urvashi Rautela had to be a part of Ambarsaiya and now here's another scoop from a hit movie.
The super hit Bambukat, which released in the year 2016 had a huge starcast. While Binnu Dhillon and Sheetal Thakur were paired opposite each other, there was another couple which was played by Ammy Virk and debutante Simi Chahal.
Simi garnered all the praise for her role in the movie as “Pakko” but not many know that she wasn't the first choice for the role. Himanshi Khurana, who is a famous face from Punjabi music videos was offered the role of Pakko in Bambukat. Impressed with the role offered to her, Himanshi intented to re-enter the Punjabi film industry with this movie, but fate had something else in store for her.
As per the character's demand, Himanshi had to look dusky. The makeup artist tried giving her skin a 3 tone darker shade but her sharp features made her still look better than than the second lead of the movie, Sheetal Thakur. The actress was then offered the role of Sheetal Thakur but Himanshi wasn't really happy with it.
Not happy about the sequence of events, she finally tuned down the offer.
The movie became a blockbuster and turned out to be a blockbuster debut for Simi, though Sheetal wasn't seen after that but what if Himanshi was actually in that role?
Would she have done the same magic??
