Punjabi singer Satinder Sartaaj had shown his discontent about the kind of scripts that are being offered to him after his debut in the field of acting with 'The Black Prince'.
During one of our interviews, he had even said 'Lagda hai mainu aap hee likhni paini hai film, for me to work in it" and we guess that his statement has now turned into a reality.
According to reports, Sartaaj is working on a film story with a unique subject — a Punjab-Iran connect. He is currently exploring scriptwriting and from the little that we know about him, he's going to give this script an all new dimension.
Sartaaj's scripted story will show a bond between Punjab and Iran.
Sartaaj confirmed the news to TOI and said that he’s working on the project and it will show things from a different perspective. According to the sources, Sartaaj started to work on the project and has carried out extensive research for it. “The subject is of his interest,” a source said, adding, “The film will be centered on Punjab and Iran. It will talk about the culture and languages of both regions, and compare the similarities, while keeping the common heritage as the prime base.”
The film has not been titled yet.
