Now, for the film buffs, 2017 seems to be equally promising with the first ever release lined up for 6th of January. Sardar Saab, starring Jackie Shroff, Gugu Gill, Daljeet Kalsi, Shivendra Mahal, Sudesh Berry, Neetu Singh, Karamjit Anmol and Yaad Grewal, is all set to hit the big screen and a lot of b-town biggies are promoting this film with full fervour.
Sardar Saab has been the talk of b-town with special support coming in from Bollywood singer Mika Singh, Yo Yo Honey Singh and many others. The recent music launch of this movie in Delhi was a glitzy affair too with names like Milind Gaba, Guru Randhawa, Debi Makhsoospuri and many others making their presence felt at the occasion. The music of the film is done by Kaptan Laadi, RDK and Millind Gaba.
Even the music of Sardar Saab has created quite a buzz amongst youth, especially Jazzy B's 'Gobind De Sardar'. 'Suit Punjabi' sung by Mika is a party favourite now and the recently released 'Ranjhana' sung by Sukhwinder Singh and Geeta Jhalla is also a treat for the eyes. It is shot entirely in the picturesque location of New Zealand.
Though the film is a remake of the South film Thalaivaa, but it has people talking and in case you're wondering what the storyline is then lemme tell you a secret!
There's a major wala twist in the story towards the interval..and it will turn things upside down for Daljeet Kalsi's character. (Don't tell anyone that I told you this)
Directed by Amit Prasher and produced by All Time Movies Pvt Ltd, Sardar Saab features Jackie Shroff as a turbaned Sardar for the very first time. Ask Daljeet Kalsi whether playing a romantic lead is his cup of tea and he replies, "I am not a romantic actor. I am an action hero and that's what I'll be seen doing in my debut movie Sardar Saab. As far as my body fitness is concerned, I've always been a gym freak which gave me an edge over the others for justifying my character."
