Director Harry Baweja will soon be working with his son Harry Baweja in this duo's next film titled Jaita. The film is about Bhai Jaita, who was given the name Bhai Jiwan Singh, after he had received the rites of initiation at the hands of Guru Gobind Singh on the day - 14 April, 1699 when Khalsa Panth was inaugurated.
He was a Sikh from Patna, India who had belonged to the Majhabi (scavenger) caste. For all those who aren't very well versed with Sikhism, he's the same person who carried the head of Guru Teg Bahadur to Anandpur Sahib after he was beheaded at Chandni Chowk.
The father-son duo previously worked together in Harman's debut film Love Story 2050, with Harman's then girlfriend Priyanka Chopra.
The remaining cast of this live action film Jaita has not been finalized yet.
"We are working on another film. Apart from Harman, the rest of the cast is not decided yet. It is a live action film called Jaita. It will be in cinemas by next summer," Harry told PTI.
Though Harman's Bollywood projects have given him much success as an actor but it will be noteworthy if the actor follows his father's directorial footsteps. When questioned on the same, Harry said, "Its completely his choice, but as an actor he will be seen soon."
Bhai Jiwan Singh had even received special honour from Guru Gobind Singh who addressed him as "Ranghareta Guru Ka Beta" ("the young man of the Ranghar caste is the Guru's own son"
