The only secret to materialise your dreams in life is to begin out early. Passion coupled with a desire to lead can beat the age old belief of unlocking experiences with age.

As a teenager, he looked and arranged for, the best medical care for his ailing father. When he was 20, he received another major jolt. His father passed away untimely in November 2010 because of a renal failure.
Inspite of all this strife, Angad wanted to serve and make a difference which kept him engaged and dedicated in the local politics with his mother. “My mother has been a great mentor to me, and I have learnt a lot from her”. At the age of 18, he contested his first election and was elected as the general secretary of District Youth Congress, Nawanshahr. At the age of 21 he became the youth Congress president from Nawanshahr.
Angad’s family, including his grand father, father and mother have dedicated their lives to serving the people of Nawanshahr. In the hotbed of Punjab elections, Angad is the youngest Turk. He understands the problems of the local population and also of those who are settled abroad. He has a well-read mind-set and has a well-travelled experience to countries like USA, UK, Canada, Mexico, South Africa, Mozambique, and Tanzania. He is also immensely popular amongst the Indian diaspora of these countries. He organised various contact programmes for the Congress in The United States and The United Kingdom which were well received by the Indian diaspora in these countries.
Angad is a national level squash player and a national level shooter. He strongly advocates the youth to shun drugs and take up sports. He regularly organises cricket and sports tournaments in Nawanshahr in the memory of his late grandfather. To further support his cause, he has donated 300 cricket kits to the aspiring cricket players of the district.
He has worked tirelessly for the development of Nawanshahr belt and wishes to work with the well-experienced elders and the tireless and impatient youth.
He signs off on a positive note by saying “The best is yet to come which can only be possible with the help of my young friends who are willing to see a change.”
